The first WePlay training session, held on 24 September 2026, was a great success, bringing together more than 40 participants from different European countries.
The online session marked an important milestone for the project, as teachers and educational professionals had the opportunity to discover the WePlay platform in greater detail and learn how it can be used to create and participate in gamified learning experiences.
During the session, participants were introduced to the main features of the platform, including the creation of games, classroom participation, collaboration between schools and the different tools available for teachers and students.
It was also an excellent opportunity to exchange questions, ideas and first impressions with educators from different countries, helping the WePlay team to better understand the needs of the schools that will soon take part in the pilot phase.
A European learning community
One of the most positive aspects of the session was the strong international participation.
The presence of teachers and educational professionals from different European countries reflects the collaborative spirit of WePlay and its main objective: to connect classrooms through gamification, cooperation and shared learning experiences.
The feedback and questions received during the session are already helping us to improve the platform and prepare the next stages of the project.
The next step: from training to classroom practice
The first training session was only the beginning.
On 8 October 2026 at 17:00 CET, WePlay will hold its second training session, which will focus on gamification as an educational tool and on moving from theory to classroom practice.
The session will include the participation of educational experts and will also help teachers prepare for the upcoming WePlay pilot tests, starting on 15 October 2026.
During the pilot phase, participating European schools will take part in two gamified actions focused on:
- the 2030 Agenda
- Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
This will be the moment when WePlay moves from training into real classroom experience, bringing together teachers and students from different European schools.
Thank you for being part of WePlay
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the first training session for their interest, questions and contributions.
With more than 40 participants joining us from different countries, this first meeting showed the potential of the WePlay community and the enthusiasm of teachers to explore new ways of learning through gamification.
The next stage of WePlay is about to begin.
We look forward to continuing this journey together.
